Skin lesion removal
Moles, skin tags, cysts, and other small lesions removed under local anaesthetic.
Cryotherapy
Liquid-nitrogen treatment for warts, actinic keratoses, and small lesions.
Ingrown toenail
Partial nail avulsion with phenol — performed under local anaesthetic.
Wound care
Suturing of small lacerations and incision-and-drainage of abscesses.
How to prepare.
- →Bring referral or imaging, if any.
- →Note any blood thinners (warfarin, apixaban, aspirin) — we may pause some before procedures.
- →Wear comfortable clothing that exposes the area to be treated.
After your visit.
Wound-care instructions and any prescription provided.
Suture removal or wound check (where applicable).
Lesions removed for analysis: results in 1–3 weeks; we call only if action is needed.

Will Manitoba Health cover this?+
Most medically indicated procedures are covered. Purely cosmetic removals (e.g., a mole removed for appearance only) carry an uninsured fee — we'll tell you upfront.
How long does a typical mole removal take?+
About 30 minutes including local anaesthetic, removal, and a few sutures.
