How to prepare.
- →Book at least 6 weeks before departure (some vaccines need a series).
- →Know your destinations, durations, and accommodation type (urban vs rural).
- →Bring your previous immunisation records.
After your visit.
Vaccines administered in clinic; you receive a written travel summary.
Antimalarial prescriptions and any pre-trip notes.
Return for post-travel screening if you become unwell.

Why is there a consult fee?+
Travel medicine is not covered by Manitoba Health. The fee covers the consultation, written plan, and any prescriptions.
How early should I book?+
Six weeks is ideal. Some vaccines need a multi-dose series; some destinations require yellow fever 10 days before entry.
