Routine well-baby checks
Following Manitoba's recommended schedule: 2, 4, 6, 12, and 18 months.
Vaccinations
On-time immunisations against the Manitoba childhood schedule.
Feeding & sleep support
Breastfeeding, formula, sleep — a calm conversation, not a lecture.
How to prepare.
- →Bring baby's MB Health card (apply within the first weeks if you haven't).
- →Bring the newborn discharge summary if available.
- →Note feeds, wet nappies, and any concerns you've been tracking.
After your visit.
Vaccination record updated; growth chart shared with parents.
Lactation, sleep, or developmental referrals when appropriate.

Can I see Dr. Afshar for every visit?+
We try. Booking ahead with her name reserves her time when she's in clinic.
What if my baby is sick between visits?+
Walk in any time during clinic hours. Babies under one are triaged with priority.
